Engraving is a technology in which the motif to be transferred to an object is created on a computer and then controlled by a machine tool using special software, which mills or engraves the motif into the surface of the object with a diamond tip. Currently, our machinery allows us to process both 2D and 3D graphics on objects up to 2 x 3 m in size.
We can use a CNC router to mill a wide range of materials from polystyrene to aluminum or brass. This allows us to produce 3D logos that are truly 3D and not just cut out of polystyrene with a wire cutter. We are able to produce 3D elements for facades, brass letters, 3D pendants and other delights.
Mezi nejčastější využití patří například:
- production of boards with a company logo or name
- production of advertising signs
- engraving of 3D graphics into doors, headboards or other furniture
- design boards, dividers in boxes in restaurants
- noise barriers for recording studios
- orientation systems for buildings
- production of illuminated advertising panels made of acrylic
- engraving on promotional items
3D production of large parts
The maximum dimensions of the part that we can mill at once are 3x2m. But we have already successfully milled 4m high gates.
Materials we often mill
We commonly work with extruded polystyrene, from which we create 3D signs on walls, facades of houses or offices. Polystyrene can then be painted with the color of the customer’s choice.
Another very popular material is MDF board. It can then be sanded and varnished. Joiners are used to working with it further.
Shaped advertising signs are quite commonly milled. They are either made of foamed PVC or a sandwich aluminum panel (so-called dibond).
We can also mill more difficult materials, such as aluminum, brass, etc. Various signs or signs, whether painted or just milled, are a common part of our production.
Our milling and engraving machines
The biggest pet is the COMAGRAV milling machine with a usable area of approximately 2x3m. The maximum height of the milled part is around 10-15cm.
The smaller engraving machine from the Italian company Venture has dimensions of 60x40cm.
